How we raise money
Year Round Support: Families, Businesses and Local Organizations
Planned Charitable Giving
Angler Fish Market and Chowder Company
The Angler hosts an 'Angler Helping Neighbors' day each year where 10% of all of that day's sales are donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Aubuchon Hardware
Aubuchon Hardware partners with Vincent's Country Store to offer high-quality in-demand items (lawn tractor, generator, snow blower, BBQ grill, etc.) for raffles that raise awareness and funds for Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Shoppe on Main and Mountain View Art Attic
Local business owners Jessica Rollins Mercier (Shoppe on Main at 32 Main Street, Westminster) and Sheri Glover (Mountain View Art Attic) partnered to host a painting party this summer where 50% of the proceeds were donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. 'Artists' left a fun evening with a work of art and it was all to benefit NHN.
Vincent's Country Store
The ultimate good neighbor, Vincent's Country Store allows us to set up our Neighbors Helping Neighbors tents and tables to promote anything we have coming up. They also serve a free lunch during the Memorial Day parade each year, with a donation bucket for Neighbors Helping Neighbors. They also partner with Aubuchon Hardware to hold at least one 'big item' raffle each year in the store.
Wachusett Brewing Company
All public brewery tour money and sales of beer tasting glasses are donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Over the years, this has added up to over $50,000.
Westminster Lions Club
The Westminster Lions Club help immensely with our RAIN OR SHINE event. They provide all the heavy duty tents that are set up the Thursday night before Benefit Day weekend.
Westminster Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7389
The Westminster VFW sends Neighbors Helping Neighbors a monthly donation check, and has been doing so for years.

FAMILIES HELPING NEIGHBORS
Westminster's Mercier sisters (Eva, 8, and Emily, 6) are pictured with past NHN Board members Bob Cudak, Nancy Green and Tammy Dwelly. The girls set up a donation-based lemonade stand at their house during the Town Wide Yard Sale, with all proceeds being donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. >>>
We have been selected as the charity of choice for memorial gifts by 47 families who have lost loved ones.
We have also received honorary donations in recognition of supporters' anniversaries, birthdays and retirements.
I wondered why somebody didn't do something. Then I realized, I am somebody.
